Hello well I have decided now which charity I am going to raffle the crochet throw off for and that is Help for Heroes, I know it will take me a while as the magazine is in 120 parts but I feel that it is a worthwhile cause, I know that when these lads and lasses join the army it is their choice and I am so proud to be British if I can help raise a little bit of money for this cause then I will feel that I have said thank you!
I am just waiting for issue 2 to come into my newsagents so that I can do the second square, I have finished the first one but have decided to wait until I have got several of them done before I block them out to 13cm squares!! As I progress I will take photos and put them on for all to see

Just to say .............
hello well I don't know how much more snow I can take, here in Crowle it is awful, I live on the main road through the village and there is hardly any traffic. On Wednesday of this week I decided to walk to work as the road was that bad, lucky for me it is only a mile and a half to my place of work .......... and do you know what????????? I actually enjoyed the walk, of course when my husband came to pick me up at 1 o'clock for lunch he didn't talk to me, said i was an idiot for walking!!
I have bought the new magazine that is advertised on TV called "The Art of Crochet", I can crochet round items such as shawls but I struggle to crochet garments and so I thought I would buy it and place a regular order so that I don't miss an issue - 120 in all!! At the end of the issues I will have produced a (fingers crossed) throw which I have decided to raffle of for a deserving charity. I am open to suggestions for charities which you think are deserving so if you have one in mind let me know.
I have just finished knitting a scarf in black fluffy yarn for a friend of mine and now I am knitting a beret for another friends daughter which is in silver grey and should be finished tomorrow with any luck :)
